EOL - PC/104 16 Opto-isolated In- and 16 Opto-isolated Outputs

For industrial control and high-reliability applications, the DM6856HR dataModule offers high-density, low-cost isolated digital I/O. Isolated I/O are available as two 8-bit digital input ports and two 8 bit output latches. The output latches drive open-collector-output Opto-isolators.

The DM6856 can be used to safely interface with control equipment in the presence of high voltages, ground faults, and current loops. These conditions would damage non-isolated I/O.
