PMC239/F

PCI to PMC Adapter

The PMC239/F is a PCI to PMC adaptor card. It has a PCI edge connector style that fits into a 32- or 64-bit PCI slot.

The PMC239/F accepts both 3.3V and 5V signaling PMC cards. It can be plugged into both 3.3V and 5V signaling PCI slots. However, if a 3.3V-only signaling PMC is installed on the PMC239/F, the adapter can not be installed in a 5V-only PCI slot. This also holds true for the converse.

PMC239/F adapter card can be used to provide a connection between a host PCI bus and a PMC card. The card also provides an extra connector that is suitable for debugging purpose for the PMC card. The extra connector maps 64 bits of user I/Os to one of the PMC connector (P4). In addition, PMC239/F provides a MagLev type fan (5V, 1W) for cooling the PMC card.
