NETernity™ RM980RC is an economical VME format unmanaged Layer-2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to meet the needs of a wide range of applications such as commercial, industrial and government systems. The 6U VME form factor RM980RC facilitates communications within a chassis as well as supporting the network outside the chassis.
RM980RC delivers full wire-speed Gigabit Ethernet Layer-2 switching on all ports. It is available in a number of configurations including 12 or 24 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 1000BaseT ports routed to rear I/O, or 22 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 1000BaseT ports routed to the rear plus two front I/O ports. Polyurethane or acrylic conformal coating is optional.
