Mit mehr als 20 Jahren Erfahrung mit lüfterlosen Computern hat MPL ein konduktiv gekühltes System mit i7 Quad Core CPU und integrierter NVIDIA 768-Core GPGPU entwickelt. Die Komplettlösung benötigt keinen Lüfter und kann in Umgebungen von -40°C bis +60°C betrieben werden.

MPL AG ist mehr oder weniger der Erfinder von lüfterlosen Computern. Die Firma bietet seit über 20 Jahren lüfterlose konduktive gekühlte Lösungen an. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde die einzigartige Kühlmethode von vielen Computerherstellern kopiert. Diese Lösungen unterscheiden sich jedoch von der MPL Lösung. Die leitfähigen Kühllösungen von MPL werden nicht durch Heatpipes oder andere Workarounds erreicht. Die MPL Kühllösung beginnt mit dem Design der CPU Boards und ihrer Peripheriegeräte. Es werden nur Teile mit niedrigem Stromverbrauch ausgewählt. Die wärme-erzeugenden Teile werden ohne Kompromisse auf der Rückseite der Base-board platziert, um alle Hotspots direkt mit dem Gehäuse nach aussen zu verbinden. Um dieses spezifische Design zu erreichen, ist eine spezielle Vereinbarung (RS NDA) mit Intel erforderlich, da nur so das von Intel angebotene Referenzdesign geändert werden kann. Die meisten der auf dem Markt erhältlichen Produkte stammen vom Referenzdesign von Intel, welches für kommerzielle Computer entwickelt wurde.
