Mit der fortschreitenden Digitalisierung im Alltag wächst auch die Nachfrage nach multifunktionaler Konnektivität in Fahrzeugen jeglicher Art rasant. Anwendungen wie Telematik, Flottenmanagement, Güterverfolgung und E-Mobility benötigen enorme Datenmengen aus verschiedensten Quellen. Daher ist es wichtig, Echtzeitdaten über Standort, Kraftstoffverbrauch, Fahrerverhalten, Zustand, etc. zu sammeln, um Kosten zu sparen und so das Geschäft zu optimieren.

Das multifunktionelle IoT-Gerät NG800 im IP55-Gehäuse eignet sich für raue Umgebungen und bietet die notwendige robuste Kommunikation zwischen On-Board Fahrzeugausstattung und Cloud-Anwendungen. Das modulare Konzept aus Software, Elektronik und mechanische Komponenten erlaubt die Optimierung für spezifische Zielanwendungen.

Die drahtlose Kommunikation ermöglicht der NG800 mit LTE Modem, zwei SIM Karten, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n als Client oder kleiner In-Vehicle Access Point; GNSS Dead Reckoning, IMU und Bluetooth. Der Molex CMC 48-poliger Stecker wird für alle verkabelten Schnittstellen wie CAN, Broad-R Reach, Fast Ethernet, DIO oder RS-232 verwendet.

Die Kernfunktionen der Plattform können mit einem kundenspezifischen Modul erweitert werden, um zusätzliche Schnittstellen bereitzustellen oder parallele CPU-Subsysteme über die Ethernet-Backplane einzubetten.

Mit seiner IP55-Konformität dank einer thermoplastischen Abdeckung und einer Aluminium-Bodenplatte ist der NG800 für den Einsatz im Freien und ausserhalb des Fahrzeugs konzipiert. Optionale interne LTE-, WiFi- oder GNSS-Antennen können die Gesamtkosten senken.

Die Produktplattform beinhaltet OEM Linux OS mit Software-Support für alle Hardware Komponenten, so dass Kunden eigene Anwendungen effizient realisieren können.
