Targeting new Industrial IoT applications, the NB800 OEM platform provides a strong and comprehensive wireless feature set that can be flexibly combined through various assembly options: LTE or UMTS, WLAN 802.11 abgn, 2.4/5GHz and Bluetooth 4.2 including BLE.
As addition to the standard Fast Ethernet and USB interfaces, application specific peripherals (RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Digitial IOs, M-Bus, … ) can be realized as extension shields hooked up onto the mainboard.
The CPU core system consists of a 600MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB Flash and provides enough processing power to integrate use case specific applications besides the standard routing functionalities – this generates added value compared to standard router solutions. The platform supports low-power modes and system components can be switched on/off on demand.
The platform comes with the feature-rich NetModule Router Software or a standard Yocto Linux for customer-specific applications.
