Der kompakte NB800 ist die kostengünstige Lösung für eine robuste bordeigene Internetverbindung in Fahrzeugen. Sein modulares Design unterstützt ein breites Spektrum an Protokollen für das sich rasch verbreitende Internet of Things (IoT). Zu seinen Features gehören ein LTE-Modul für die Fahrzeug-Boden-Kommunikation, ein kleiner WLAN-Access-Point mit Bluetooth LE sowie ein Ethernet-Port. Eine Besonderheit ist seine Dual-CAN-Schnittstelle, die die Interaktion mit der Bordelektronik ermöglicht.

Der Router entspricht auch der UN ECE R10 (E-Mark) Regelung und kann daher in Bussen und anderen Strassenfahrzeugen, auch unter harten Einsatzbedingungen, genutzt werden. Dies, kombiniert mit seinen vielseitigen Features, macht ihn zum optimalen Gerät für Anwendungen wie eMobility, Landwirtschaft, Telematik und Flottenmanagement.

Die Software basiert auf bewährten Komponenten wie einem Embedded Linux und einer leistungsfähigen Kommunikationsprotokollsuite. Kundenspezifische Softwareerweiterungen können über ein ausgeklügeltes SDK implementiert werden.
