Der kompakte NB800 ist die kostengünstige Lösung für eine robuste bordeigene Internetverbindung in Fahrzeugen. Sein modulares Design unterstützt ein breites Spektrum an Protokollen für das sich rasch verbreitende Internet of Things (IoT). Zu seinen Features gehören ein LTE-Modul für die Fahrzeug-Boden-Kommunikation, GNSS zur Ortung sowie ein Ethernet-Port.

Der Router entspricht auch der UN ECE R10 (E-Mark) Regelung und kann daher in Bussen und anderen Strassenfahrzeugen, auch unter harten Einsatzbedingungen, genutzt werden. Dies, kombiniert mit seinen vielseitigen Features, macht ihn zum optimalen Gerät für Anwendungen wie Passagier Information, Landwirtschaft und Fahrkartensysteme.

Die Software basiert auf bewährten Komponenten wie einem Embedded Linux und einer leistungsfähigen Kommunikationsprotokollsuite. Kundenspezifische Softwareerweiterungen können über ein ausgeklügeltes SDK oder Linux Container (LXC) implementiert werden.
