The NB3800 is a powerful and robust cellular router designed for rail applications. With its rail industry approvals, versatility, security features and performance, it is ideal for applications such as passenger WLAN, passenger information, or video surveillance.
Its features include an LTE Advanced module, an IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) WLAN module, a GNSS/GPS receiver for positioning, and 2 Gigabit and 3 Fast Ethernet ports.
The router meets the mandatory requirements of EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 standards, and communication interfaces include hardened connectors, including M12 for Ethernet, and TNC connectors for antenna connections.
The software is based on proven components such as an embedded Linux and a powerful communication protocol suite. Customer-specific software extensions can be implemented via a sophisticated SDK.
