Der leistungsstarke Router NB1800 ermöglicht schnellen Internetzugang im industriellen Umfeld. Für eine zuverlässige Netzwerkverbindung unterstützt das Gerät ein LTE-Modul sowie ein WLAN-Modul nach neuestem Standard IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5). Ebenfalls zur Ausstattung gehören zwei Gigabit Ethernet und einen SFP Port (z.B. für optionales Glasfaser-Modul), sowie ein USB-Host-Port und eine serielle Schnittstelle mit RS-232- oder RS-485-Modus.

Hutschienenmontage, der breite Betriebstemperaturbereich von -40 °C bis 70 °C und das IP40-Metallgehäuse erlauben einen zuverlässigen Betrieb unter rauen Bedingungen. Dies, kombiniert mit seinen vielseitigen Features und seiner Performance, machen den NB1800 zum idealen Gerät für Anwendungen wie Industrielle Sicherheit, Videoüberwachung, Erneuerbare Energien und Point of Sales.

Die Software basiert auf bewährten Komponenten wie einem Embedded Linux und einer leistungsfähigen Kommunikationsprotokollsuite sowie VPN-Technologien wie OpenVPN. Kundenspezifische Softwareerweiterungen können über ein ausgeklügeltes SDK implementiert werden.
