Stackable Packaging System for DPM104HR. The DPM104HR board is ideal in fault tolerant redundant systems or in PC/104 based control systems requiring multiprocessing capabilities over the PC/AT bus. RTD provides example programs and drivers for Windows and Linux including source code. These drivers and programs let you set up communication between the two sides of the shared memory with maximum flexibility. You may choose to run different operating system on different sides of the shared memory; for example you can use WIN NT 4.0 on one side of the DPM104HR for user interface services, while on the other side of the DPM104HR a control algorithm can be executed under Linux. Both processes can then work independently of each other.
