The ICS-1640 is a 16-channel, 2.5 MHz, 24-bit ADC module designed for high end acoustic applications. Perfectly suited for high frequency sonar receive applications, the ICS-1640 offers very high dynamic range in a short form factor PCI Express card. The 24-bit converters used on the product provide exceptional dynamic range and programmable oversampling ratios as well as a flexible clocking scheme allowing for programmability over the entire available sampling range with a resolution of 1 Hz. The ICS-1640 also provides multiple board synchronization for applications that require more than 16 channels, or that require synchronization between receive and transmit elements of the system.
The ICS-1640 has been designed to work seamlessly with the ICS-1620 high speed digital to analog converter card which allows sonar system integrators to easily develop a fully synchronized transmit and receive application.
