Contained in an IP67 rated housing, Brad HarshIO modules can be machine mounted and are able to withstand areas where liquids, dust or vibration may be present. This makes them ideally suited for many applications including material handling equipment and automated assembly machinery.
The typical application for IP67 I/O modules can be found on the factory floor level, where the modules can be mounted directly to machines. Without taking space in a cabinet, the machine design can become smaller when IP67 I/O modules are used.
Brad HarshIO modules support various fieldbus connectivity including Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET IO. Expertise in industrial communications along with the capacity to manufacture products provides Molex the ability to deliver high quality products compliant with industrial standards.
Product characteristics such as 60 mm and 30 mm housing format, user configurable I/O channels, 4-pin and 5-pin power version, etc – make user choice large and simple. Each module comes equipped with diagnostic LEDs providing status information on network, power, inputs and outputs.
Following traditional industrial fieldbus practices, Brad HarshIO modules accept standard threaded M12 connectors or Ultra-Lock™ connection system. The Ultra-Lock connection system is a "push-to-lock" method used to provide fast, simple and secure connections between HarshIO module and I/O devices.
