Bei der EDS-4008-Serie handelt es sich um gemanagte Fast-Ethernet-Switches mit 8 Ports und der Option für vier Uplink-Ports mit 1 Gbit/s oder zwei 100-Meter-ST/SC-Glasfaser-Ports. Diese Serie bietet außerdem Modelle mit vier 10/100BaseT(X) 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+) und 802.3bt-kompatiblen Ethernet-PoE-Port-Optionen für den Anschluss von PoE-Geräten mit hoher Bandbreite.

Redundante Ethernet-Technologien wie Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain und RSTP/STP erhöhen die Zuverlässigkeit Ihres Systems und verbessern die Verfügbarkeit Ihres Netzwerk-Backbones. Die Serie EDS-4008 wurde speziell für anspruchsvolle Anwendungen wie Video- und Prozessüberwachung, ITS- und DCS-Systeme entwickelt, die alle von einem skalierbaren Backbone profitieren können.
