The TEWS TAMC640 is a standard single width AMC.0 compliant module with a powerful user configurable FPGA (Virtex-5), two QDR-II SRAM banks, and two DDR2 SDRAM banks for memory expansion.
Designed for high-performance industrial, military/ aerospace, and transportation applications, where specialized I/O or long-term availability is required, the TAMC640 provides a number of advantages including a customizable interface for unique customer requirements and a FPGA-based design for product lifecycle management issues.
The Virtex-5 FPGA will be configured via Flash device. Additionally mounted Vita 57 FPGA Mezzanine card (FMC) enables flexible I/O connectivity. A range of FMC cards offer devices for analog and digital I/O signals.
Different Virtex-5 module versions are available:
The FPGA LXT-product range is suitable for high-performance logic applications.
The SXT product line will be used for high performance DSP applications.
For high performance embedded Systems the FXT product range offers two integrated PowerPC440 processor blocks.
